On March 13th, 2023, the Zhejiang-Africa business delegation, accompanied by Huang Zaisheng, Chairman of Tanzania United Construction Group and China-Tanzania National Industrial Park, visited Mr.Abubakar M. Kunenge, Governor of Coastal Province of Tanzania. The two sides discussed on strengthening the economic and trade cooperation between Zhejiang and Tanzania, providing economic preferential policy, protecting the safety of enterprises investing in Tanzania from Zhejiang, etc.

On March 14th, 2023, the Zhejiang-Africa business delegation also visited Dar es Salaam Governor Mr.Amos G. Makalla to discuss the business environment in Dar es Salaam and opportunities for cooperation with Zhejiang enterprises. Mr. Amos G. Makalla introduced the economic development and investment opportunities of Dar es Salaam, saying that Dar es Salaam is an important economic province in Tanzania with huge development potential.

 Mr. Amos G. Makalla is forward looking to strengthening economic and trade cooperation with Zhejiang and encouraging more Zhejiang enterprises to invest in Dar es Salaam. The government will provide a fair and open business environment and protect the safety of Zhejiang enterprises and personnel.
