On June 26, 1960, the Republic of Madagascar declared its independence, marking this day as Madagascar's National Day. To celebrate this significant occasion, a grand celebration was held on the afternoon of June 26 at the Zhejiang-Africa Service Center, aiming to showcase Madagascar's rich history, magnificent landscapes, and unique culture while further promoting cultural exchanges between China and Madagascar.

The event began with the national anthem of Madagascar, with everyone present singing together to send their blessings for the prosperity and success of Madagascar. Attending the celebration were Leader of Hangzhou Qiantang New District Government, representatives from the renowned enterprise King Deer Cashmere, and Malagasy students studying in China.


The Director of the Zhejiang-Africa Service Center delivered a welcome speech at the event. He stated that the Zhejiang-Africa Service Center is committed to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa. By hosting such events, the center aims to help more people understand the culture and history of Madagascar. Following this, a representative from KingDeer took the stage to introduce the company's business achievements and cooperation experiences in Madagascar.

During the event, the host passionately introduced the unique cultural features of Madagascar to the guests, sharing legendary stories and traces of ancient civilizations that took place on this land. Following this, Madagascar's unique culture was showcased. The venue included an art exhibition area where artists from Madagascar demonstrated their creative process, presenting a series of exquisite artworks to the audience. To provide a deeper understanding of Malagasy culture, students taught traditional Malagasy dances on-site.

Finally, guests enjoyed delicious Malagasy food, chocolate, and specialty tea drinks. These delicacies not only allowed the guests to experience the unique culinary culture of Madagascar but also gave them a deeper understanding of the country.

This event not only showcased the rich and diverse culture of Madagascar but also further deepened the understanding and friendship between the people of China and Madagascar.
